On December 18 at 23:59, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake with a depth of 10 kilometers struck the Bonan-Dongxiang-Salar autonomous county of Jishishan in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, China.


People across the country are concerned about the earthquake disaster, and the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in the disaster area is of utmost urgency. With the decreasing temperature in winter, respiratory diseases have entered a high-incidence season, and the disaster area may face the risk of outbreaks of various respiratory diseases such as COVID-19, influenza, and pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma.
